Announcing Dojo 1.1.1

The latest Dojo release includes critical but low-risk patches to version 1.1.0, plus localizations to bring the list of languages supported by Dojo to 22.

Growing pains.

A number of you have noticed that at times things have been a little wonky with dojotoolkit.org...we're in the process of expanding (and working out kinks with) our server infrastructure. Please be patient; if you run across the "white screen of death", you should be able to try the same link again within a minute. Why? Because we're enabling the ability for you to add comments with the new API doc tool! Go check it out!

New dojox.widget.Rating widget and even more innovation with gfx!

Just after Wolfram landed his new Rating widget in DojoX, I read about Tobi's extension to this widget that uses dojo.gfx! It's a testimony not just to Wolfram's clean implementation, but also to the reusability of the Dojo architecture and the widget system in particular. Nice work, guys!

Dojo Toolkit 1.0.1 is available

This is a bug fix release and is fully API compatible with 1.0.0.

release-1.0.1rc4 is ready!

A release candidate for the 1.0.1 release is ready.

A new look is here.

As you're probably noticing, today we launched the new look and feel for Dojo--and it's been a long and hard process.

Dojo 1.0 release candidate 1

We're now very close to a major milestone on the project. A 1.0 release candidate was tagged this morning. This wouldn't have happened without the heroic efforts and sleepless nights of many of our contributors, notably dante and alex.

New Dojo Offline Release

Dojo is proud to announce a new beta release of Dojo Offline. This release has a huge amount of exciting new functionality, including a full port to Google Gears, a port from Dojo 0.4 to 0.9, and more. Read more below.

Dojo Offline Beta Released: Toolkit for Offline Web Apps

We are proud to announce the beta release of the Dojo Offline Toolkit. Dojo Offline is a free, open source toolkit that makes it easy for web applications to work offline. It consists of two pieces: a JavaScript library bundled with your web page and a small (~300K) cross-platform, cross-browser download that helps to cache your web application's user-interface for use offline. This is an early-access program, so there are a few bugs, but we have made tremendous progress - it's time to get the beta out the door.
