Bordercontainer - Webkit (Webkit & Dojo Nightly)

Hi All,

I've recently downloaded the nightly dojo and webkit browser as of 14/02/08 and the bordercontainer test pages are failing with syntax errors.

Safari 3.0.4/FF 2.0.0.12 seems fine so its likely a Webkit issue.

Dojo nightly 1.1 (2008-02-13)
Webkit nightly (2008-02-13)

Anyone else can confirm what I'm seeing?

Regards,
Adam.

confirmed but...

I can confirm it, and if you add debugAtAllCosts: true to djconfig in that test file and then use Drosera (and skip all the fetch errors for the NLS files), you can see it's an error in dojo.query, trying to call queryAllParameters or something like that. But not sure if that's a bug in webkit or something in dojo that needs to be fixed. Technically we aren't supporting webkit but if you can figure out what's going on feel free to file a bug with us (login as guest/guest) or them.

Could this error be related to this change. Up until a few days ago the bordercontainer was working brilliantly in the nightly Webkit.

status update

Hey all:

So the webkit guys are on the crashers and have fixed the first of them:

http://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17313

There's one more, but the bordercontainer test page shouldn't crash any more due to it:

http://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17655

And as of tonight things should be working again in the nightlies:

http://trac.dojotoolkit.org/changeset/13066

I don't see a need to roll the changes back, but you will need to update your build.
